is it ok to count time if a dub sticks a jayworg sign in his front window at home ? or--how about a jayworg bumper sticker ? count time whilev driving. or even when the car is parked for hours.

Trolley cart "witnessing" is getting ridiculous
by oppostate ini really fail to see how much actual "witnessing" is occurring with the trolley carts.publishers, usually pioneers, just stand or sit there not engaging anyone and count their time.. the only thing i notice that it's accomplishing is brand exposure for jw.0rg so the public is exposed to the logo and literature/poster card headlines.. take for example this "evening" witnessing by a pioneer elder while on summer holiday/vacation.. .
is this not a wth kinda moment when you consider the years of slaving, knocking on doors, business territory and bible studies we had to keep performing so we weren't branded a "weak" publisher?.

How to argue with a JW who says the org never said the end in 75
by dogon ini have argued with several jws who are now being trained to deny the org ever said the end in 75, what is your approach?.

1975 is meaningless to any dubs born since that date. it was all tied in with a creative day being 7000 years long--and the one bullsh1t non-fact was used to prove the other--and vice versa. best let any active dub who wants to live in denial stay alseep in their own world of illusion.
it was the unprovable 7000 year-day " fact" that got me really thinking long and hard about the watchtower--and i was well out of it before 1975.

Updates and fixes
by Simon ini thought i'd spend some time cleaning up the forum code and wanted to let you know about some of the recent changes and fixes:.
the avatars and in-post images used to use a separate imaging service which was convenient but didn't provide much control over caching which meant that each day you visited the site you were probably re-downloading those images again.
as they are immutable they can be cached for a long time which saves bandwidth and speeds things up.

anyone else had this following convention
by freeandcontent inso my mam visited today.
she recently went to convention in north east england, newcastle i think they still have them at.
before she left she said (this is her exact words btw) "you have put me in a difficult position and i can't come to see you anymore".. she told me that as i live with my partner and we are unmarried that she can't visit anymore.

family visits are necessary family business...unless of course its a brain-dead head nodding dub.

Another brother steps back
by konceptual99 inso at the meeting this week it was announced that a certain brother was no longer serving as a ministerial servant.. this is a guy who was brought up in a different country as his family went to serve where the need was greater.
this is a guy who was home schooled and went straight into pioneering.
he then went and worked on building projects in various places in europe and africa.

i cant think of a more pointless futile waste of time giving out invites to a bible-fest which no-one would be remotely interested in.

Things I remember growing up in the 70s
by The Rebel ini remember sitting on my daddy's lap and driving an imaginary car, i also remember sitting on my mummies lap on the front seat, without a seat belt whilst my dad drove a real car.
i remember we bought fish and chips from the chippy wrapped in yesterday's newspapers.
i remember bouncing up and down on my space hopper in the garden.

@the Rebel
". I say this because I love your Avetor a car number plate " 666 XJW" that's cool."
the story about the number plate:
i was at one of Cantleave and Nuggets' infamous partys and we got onto the subject of personal plates--my previous car had an XJW plate-----and Cantleave suggested we look on the DVLA website for unused plates for sale---a search showed m666xjw-----Cantleave held a loaded banana to my head and my credit card came out. so he has to take full responsibility for it. "he made me do it "
